WHAT WE DO
We represent former, as well as current members of the Defence Force, and their families.
We represent veterans of all conflicts from World War II to Afghanistan, including Peacekeeping and Peacemaking Missions. We also assist War Widows and Widowers.
We have many years’ experience helping with claims in all of the Military Compensation schemes, with fully trained 'TIP' qualified Pensions officers. Our team is made of predominantly volunteers with responsibilities stemming across administration and the running of the organisation and experienced Advocates to prepare all documents to assist with claims and if rejected will present an appeal to the Veterans Review Board on behalf of the client.
Due to recent changes with donations from the RSL’s and other channels we are looking to other revenue raising options so we can continue our work in this area as it is vital and helps change the lives of many deserved service men and woman. Some of these people have significant injuries both physical and mental and are not in a capable position to help themselves and therefore end up with nothing to assist them transitioning back into a comfortable civilian lifestyle.
In 2015, at our Granville Head Office alone, we assisted over 1,400 applications and another 1,200 in 2016. We need to get the word out there so our veterans know there is a safe and respectful place to come who want to help.
Our highly trained and experienced Advocates, Pensions Officers, and Welfare officers, are situated throughout New South Wales, near most major centres, and our Outreach Programs reach most remote areas. We would obviously like this to expand further.
All services are provided totally free of charge.
Money’s raised will be spent on the following areas of operations, which will significantly improve the assistance we are able to offer this important cause.
